Onwards and Upwards
She was in hospital for about two weeks after starting the medication, and then she was finally able to go home, where she got to see her house, sleep in her bed, wear all her new clothes - for the first time.
I tried limiting my visits to once a week so she could settle in, but it's a bit hard cos she's so cute!
Her schedule consisted of medication, milk, water or a combination of all three at 12, 2, 6, and 10 - AM and PM. It wasn't too hard, though, as she continued to have her feeding tube in, which made giving her medicine a piece of cake.
It was so good to have her home and for her, apart from the feeding tube and the medicine, to be able to do what all newborns do - sleep, eat and even cry! This photo is of her, being held by me, and I didn't pose her arms, she just happened to do that. It looks funny - kind of like she is impatiently waiting for the photos to stop being taken.
